Classic material from The Source as Reginald C. Dennis breaks down the 1991 White Rap Invasion. Please note that Lavar kid is a Conservative Rap Coalition pioneer with his sensible haircut and crisp polo shirt.

Robbie, have you ever heard the song from a rapper named “Pale Face” that was dissing Ice Cube as mentioned in Vibe magazine in the early 90’s?
I’ve searched high and low for decades and have found nothing other than a couple obscure references to it even existing.
@Caesar I def remember that. I believe the guy actually went in on Ice Cube. Whether or not is was good is what I dont remember. I figure if it was good then it would still be a song that’s not hard to find but if it sucked donkey balls then no one is keeping it in their memory banks.

I bought that Source mag back in the day. The Three Times Dope ad on the last page of the article brought back memories. I waited for that album and it never came out. 3XD was my favorite group! I was hoping by now that it would be released by Traffic or somebody.
I’m 100% sure Paleface song would have hot garbage.
@hotbox – it’s crazy that someone would make such a dim comparison. Sadly, when I first read your comment before the article, I wondered if it was a quote of Serch boasting. I feel bad about that knee-jerk thought now, but things are rarely surprising with music industry tales of yore
@guapisimo
same here. never cared about the wack white rappers in the article, just the 3xd ad that was used on three pages in that source issue. i waited for the record and nothing. 1994 rolls around and they dropped a weak ep and faded into obscurity forever. i’m more interested in why that record was never released, screw the white rapper investigation.

@Fosterakahunter: Is that guy the 4th member of 3rd Bass?
This is the only mention of the Paleface song or Paleface himself ever existing:
