Good One!
Heard a rumour you’re dropping a new line of CRC clothing including replicas of Milano’s white goose from the Deal With A Feeling/Rep For The Slums 12″ cover.
Good looks. Can’t wait for Boulevard Author to drop.
Woah, woah, woah!!! I’m calling nonsense. “Dangerous” from the Ghetto Pros is a terrible song and has no place on this list, especially when you excluded the excellent “Where Ya At”. Explain yourself, sir.
@Slappy White: I’d like invoke the ‘so bad that it’s good’ defense in this particular case. Plus that’s the only L verse that hasn’t been re-used a billion times.
@Robbie: Fair enough. That L verse perplexed me for years. It’s the original opening verse of “Games Females Play”, but nobody really knew that until ‘The Archives’ came out in ’06. I’m guessing that Mike Heron scooped it up from Rich King while they were working on ‘The Big Picture’. Seems like a waste to use an exclusive Big L verse on such a mess of a song.
Deal With a Feeling is an egregious exclusion. I’d throw in a vote for Drama as well, dope Finesse cut.
The new EP is great. Now can we please get an album produced entirely by the P Brothers?
Wasn’t The Formula produced by Amed?
