One of the highlights of old J-Love CD’s was when he would flaunt his extensive collection of weapons – both medieval and modern. Pictured on the inner sleeves of these two albums we see a variety of maces, flails, clubs and axes. Were these close-combat instruments passed down through generations or is there a spot in Far Rockaway that sells this gear on the low?
Since I haven’t heard from J-Love for years, I’m glad to report that not only is he still making mix CD’s, he also continues to produce music. The latest video on his YouTube account is from a crew called Concealed Weaponry, with the song ‘What Should I do’, which features J brandishing a large machete while rapping.
Are there any other Rap Armoury dudes out there I should be aware of? Maybe this is the natural progression once you cop all of the ‘Lo pieces you were after?

I suppose it’s a better hobby than collecting boutique Griselda obi stripped raer vinylz.
My brother in law does all the graphic design for J-Love’s CDs and Mix Tapes. He also did one of EPMD’s later album covers.
@Teh Martorialist HAHAHAHAA!! The kids on the Griselda Reddit are ALL about those OBI joints.
I just checked the link in this article and he’s got a whole mixtape dedicated to songs that sampled Nautilus. I may have to cop that one..
