Not sure if Timmy had terrible handwriting or the NME intern wasn’t particularly bright. Shout out to ya mans MC Mell OW.

And *Cool G Rap. (The) Court is Now In Session too.
I remember this time clearly, early 1989 – always get’me as ‘Compton was released in 88 but it was a few months later before Westwood started airing it.
I used to wonder how the rankings in Westwood’s chart were devised. Future classics often went straight in at number 1, but often disappeared quickly too. Shack it up by AOK went straight in.
With so many errors, you’re forced to wonder if they were done on purpose, Jungle Bro…
Also, Kid N Play were on Select not Next Plateau…that would be their crewmates Salt N Pepa’s label…
The Future Rap fails are funny but im not sure if it was as simple as Tim shoutin shit down a crackly phone line, or a dodgy fax from someone that strikes me as a dyslexic.
The best ones for me were Live Like The Other Half Do, by the erm, LONDON BOYS and Lord Finesse and DJ Mike Smith ?!!!?????????
