Thanks to a hot tip from Wave Foundation, it appears that God Don really is serious about a return to rap world in the wake of the announcement of the album he’s currently recording with Scaramanga and Mike El and his new 7″ release from earlier this year. Could this mean that Donnie Brasco has some more solo work planned?
The Dontown Music page bio describes Don as an ‘artist, musician, producer, leader and tenor saxophonist of the avant-garde/free jazz group THE OPEN MIND’ and features a huge selection of Cenobites material and Don solo tracks (some of which have been pressed-up on limited-edition vinyl by this point). Could this mean that the dream of a Godfather Don Unkut Interview may not be quite as dead and buried as I feared? Stay tuned, sports fans.

This is the best news I’ve heard since Easter. (first post :)
Made my night and makes up for that time you teased an interview with the great godfather
Godfather Don is the man I still have his first album hazardous from 1991. in my opinion it is a classic album and to all the heads out there when his album drop we need to support this brother, peace.
“Styles By The Gram” still gets played very very heavily. I missed the initial wave with Cenobites etc. being a bit younger, so going back through his catalogue in the last few years & discovered some beautiful gems. Not to mention his beat skills/drum programming was/is mad adept.
