    ^This.

I realise from the pic it’s tongue in cheek but you gotta put JB, Syl Johnson, Baby Huey, Arlester Christian (Dyke & the Blazers) & a long list of others in the que before Mr Joel.

You also go on to name a host of rap clowns so B-Boy is not the word to play.

ps you did forget to mention he’s one of Grandmaster Caz’s favourite artist & Cold Crush were doing his harmony routine’s over Stiletto way before G Rap, Polo & Marly touched it.

Still waiting on somebody to flip the bassline of For The Longest Time. The Piano man is NY hiphop.

Billy Joel is NY man! A jewish kid from long island, a h.s. droupout,a boxer, he loves the mets, his sound came from hunger, gotta check out his biography and see why he is not that different from any other ny cat. That doowop sound, nah but those mid 70s songs, before he married Ms. Brinkley were pure fire!

Don’t forget de la soul also did that ‘still telling lies to me’ (still rock and roll to me) bit in ego trippin part 2.

So it must be true! (Not).

He hasn’t put out a new album in 23 years and he still sells out stadiums and arenas. He has a permanent residency at Madison Square Garden which he’s been doing for 2 years already and it sells out every single time. Incredible.
