This is a bit of a mixed bunch. The requirements being that the beat or loop changes at least three times in the track. In the case of the Pete Rock song, it’s a case of the loops changing over the drums, but most of them change the entire backing track. Elsewhere, tracks from the Beastie’s and Kool G Rap are technically songs with multiple parts, but then end result is the same. I can’t be bothered typing out the track listing because drinking is a bigger priority right now.
Glad you didn’t put a track listing as gives a chance to guess whats on here b 4 dling.
One guess each:
Sound of the zeekers LONS
Merry christmas all
I already know that Pete Rock joint is For Pete’s Sake, arguably the greatest Pete Rock track ever…
The absence of a tracklisting compelled me to download this immediately, while thinking “the only examples I can think of are Jacking for Beats and Change the Style”. Thanks Robbie, this will make tomorrow’s long train ride much easier. Let’s all carry on drinking…
Merry Christmas, Robbie.
My guesses:
Siah & Yeshua DapoED – A Day Like Any Other
MF DOOM as Viktor Vaughn – Change The Beat
Action Bronson and The Alchemist – Randy The Musical
Gang Starr feat. Jeru The Damaja and Lil’ Dap – I’m The Man
Murs and 9th Wonder – Walk Like A Man
I’m not sure if Jay Electronica’s Eternal Sunshine counts as it was divided into separate Acts.
Got a couple right.
Ah, I knew Czarface had one but couldn’t remember which one – it was Escape From Czarkham Asylum.
My guesses:
Gang Starr–Speak Ya Clout
All Natural–Hip Hop History 101
Even though ‘Speak Ya Clout’ is the second installment, I had to roll with it since the beats hit harder.
Skitz “Twilight of the Gods:” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzFogLKyhcQ
Phoenix Orion “Dead men don’t download:” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ruLL-xZV70

Nice One Robbie.
Excellent selections Rob, but you missed The Beatnuts’ “2,3 Break.” The last beat on that track is nervous!
@ab: I did indeed, that would have been a more than worthy inclusion.
How about MURS – “Walk Like A Man”?
phoenix orion’s dead men don’t download as mentionned by dino is a true example indeed… dayum im trying to find more ultimate ones, ill be hollering back…
