I can’t deny Eminem has a great way with words but he can’t write good songs to save his life. I’d rather take a rapper who’s technically less impressive skill wise but can actually make an album than hearing a bunch of lyrical miracle gymnastics saying absolutley nothing.

Eminem has zero classics. When people talk about this magnum opus, its the marshall mathers LP, although I prefer the Eminem show. His best song, Stan is kinda like Immortal Technique’s Dance with the Devil but not classic in the way Slick Rick has a Mona Lisa, Krs has The Bridge is Over, etc..he may be the only emcee that is so highly regarded but has no actual hip-hop classics to his name. Good read
I respect this dude but never fuct with his music. I swear there is a prescription drug reference in every song.
Can’t write a good song? Lose yourself, 8 mile road, If I had, Rock bottom. Listen to those joints and please tell me he can’t write a deep and emotional song. Those perfectly capture the hunger that come with being a struggling rapper or even person. I can’t believe this shit I’m reading on here. Legends like Rakim have given him props but some heads just can’t, I don’t get it.
