This should bump pretty nice in my boomin’ system
excellent. this is perfect music to sip st des too
Very dope comp. Is that girl on the left pregnant in that pic, though? Worst.
dope selection.
‘ Hot Breath ‘ gets burn x1000
Dope stuff but nothing from the Dominican Diner EP?
Ok my bad, I didn’t see no. 37…. I guess I expected it to be top ten at least
a few good nuggets i admit, yo shit breaks balls tho, you really believe these are dem 40 best???
Nice list.. no complaints here.
been a while since I cared about mobb deep but lifetime is official. looks like I slept on a lot of these but I’m about to get caught up
Nice selection. The Illa Ghee song is the standout one for me. A massively underrated album in general
Also what the fuck is that picture about!
What about Nas “the season” produced by Dilla
Just noticed the chick on the left is about 9 months pregnant.
Thorough list. I would add on-
-h20-ras kass/Monch
-crib issues-j-zone
-rap basquiat-mega
@Lord Diplock: I don’t care for songs using re-heated Jay Dee beats.
@Mecbar: The J-Zone song was from 2013.
First year in awhile with no Roc Marciano or Action Bronson songs or features. Also, I would say the best Him-Lo song is Lo Salma Him Laden. Did you consciously leave off songs from Counterstrike? Or were most of those songs technically pre-2014? The song from this year that got the most plays from me was Untitled III by K-Otix feat. D. Rose. The $amhill and Light the M.C. songs were dope too.
@turtle: Putting tracks from CS2 would be like a band listing their own album in their Top 5 of 2014.
Back in the Daze from RAST was my fave….HAPPY NEW YEARS ROBBIE
Broad on the left isn’t pregnant, she’s thick! The three of ’em put together are Byron Crawford’s attainable wet dream… Australian?
@Robbie: Fair enough. What about the Kool G Rap/Necro album?
Very Surprised Rick Ross made the list. And I am very surprised that EDO.G didn’t make the list unless I didn’t see him on there. Glad to see LEX on there though.
good to know the Jigs are still doin’ it
My personal favorite is that 8 Off Gods must be crazy. Dope mix.
@Gina Vallone: What kind of thick chick is only thick in the belly to the degree of looking pregnant? Hahahaha. That’s either some kind of prop cuz she’s holding a beer or she’s def pregnant and doing dumb ish like drinking alc for whatever game they’re playing. Ewww to all of them tho. hahahaha
Dope! thanks Robbie,
I had a good evening listening to these.
Another sick track for the year 2014 –
Omniscence – Golden (Remix)
http://omniscence.bandcamp.com/track/golden-remix
Impeccable taste CRC.
