    Very similar to pro sports. The only difference is, you know what your chances are early on and don’t have to waste everyone’s energy on your illusion.

  3. Great article! It’s sad what it’s all become. Personally I don’t even pay attention to Commercial/Mainstream/Hollywood HipHop & Rap cuz it’s all garbage and pointless. Plus I’m a HipHop head so all I give a fuck about is Real HipHop Music & Culture.

  6. Well said Robbie. The movie Idiocracy comes to mind when I think of the current state of things. I remember DJ Vlad arguing that because a million people viewed Lil Yatchy’s soundcloud page he was a relevant artist. Embarrassing to say the least.

    Also I love the heavy metal tees these wack rappers wear nowdays. Says so much about this current culture. So much for knowing your history fuckboys. Way to shit on the culture that paved the way for you.

  10. @SC89 I second that notion about Eminem fans. I respect his skill as far as rhyming words but he has some of the worst production I’ve ever heard and can’t write songs for shit

    Most would have never peeped a Hip Hop record if it was not for Em.
    Also Ems worse songs are some of the worst in Hip Hop.
