Need one of them. In burgundy, as well. Will hide the red wine stains.
Good list but I’d switch out Willie Tha Kid for Illa Ghee, Social Graffiti was about as CRC approved as it gets.
The production on “Purple City Byrdgang” is STILL one of the hardest beats I’ve ever heard. And pre-corny Jim Jones sitting on the piano in the middle of Harlem with an umbrella in the video?? Perfect
willie the kid is from michigan.
jesus christ man
I was a little surprised not to see:
Big Shug
Vinnie Paz
MOP
Devin
King Tee
In your CRC hall of fame/rogues’ gallery.
@opi8: I was never much of a geography student.
I must really agree. I tried to like the badass lp but now it collects dust… The only time I can enjoy guilty is when he is a guest on other rappers shit. I would say that Illa Ghee is the only one I would switch out with Big Twinz But what the fuck…
RIP! Their will never be another P!
I would add Your old droog and Evidence to this list.
And another rapper that is getting better with age is Rass Kass. I’ll put How to kill god up against anything on this list.
Glad to hear ras kass is improving with age. He’s had so many false starts I’ve given up checking for him. Remain anonymous was amazing when it came out.
Ras Kass is a hack. That “Blasphemy” album he did with Apollo Brown was OK but his mid 90s simile/punchline shtick and unwarranted air of intellectual superiority is played out. ADIDAS is the worst kickstarter/indiegogo I’ve backed thus far.
Blasphemy was amazing and he just put out another banger: Lyrical Hip Hop is dead. Dude is still a beast two decades later. Sure not everything he put out was great. Most rappers put out average fare. Especially the ones on this list. Respect the OG!

I forgot to add Joel Ortiz to list. He’s got a couple of duds lately but his freestyles are classic. Also a couple of newcomers Dave East and Chris Rivers. It’s good to see some young lyrical cats.
Labba is worth a mention…
Dissapointed Black Robs not on here this is his last bastion of support. I get why he not but its still sad.
I would have thought Timeless Truth would have made the list, also super keen for a CRC rugby, weathers getting cool
