Are you an ill homeboy looking to find a funky fresh fly girl to chill with after school? Then step on up the Hip Hop Connection‘s cleverly titled ‘Connections’ page and find a pen pal today! Sure, these ads were placed on the late 80’s but there’s a decent chance that some of these fellas are still living with mum if you care to try sending them some snail mail, ladies!

Disappointingly I didn’t see a request from the legendary Jason Squires – the greatest reader of HHC
Jason squires was dangerous with pliers! But could also rhyme tomb with bomb. A true G.O.A.T.
Interesting how the white dude with the redneck hairdo claims to “born and raised in the South Bronx.” But he lists a UK group that nobody in the States heard of and has a European address.
I remember it well! HHC – was it the first magazine devoted entirely to Hip Hop?
Jason Squires was the shit :-). HHC was a must read magazine in the early 90s for sure. The Source was still good then too and Rap Pages was great for a year or 2 (their DJ/turntablist issue was legendary).
Sad to see my home boy Fire in there. Rest in Peace Jon
I wonder if Swift Rick is still a slammin’ groover, out there wildin’, dustin’ & shaftin’ on the mean streets of Middlesex?
