  3. There was a time when barely a month could go by without Jean Grae (getting drunk and) announcing her retirement from rap.

    I hate the rappers who set down specific schedules for their retirement – if you know you’ve definitely got three albums left in you, you’ve almost certainly got four or more. It smacks of “we’re almost there kids….just over the next horizon…”
