  3. To be fair, J Cole & Electronica aside, this doesn’t sound that bad. Has there ever been a good anniversary edition of a rap album?

  4. These new rappers need to stop prentending there from the 90’s era and make new history instead of reliving the past. the music back then was a product of it’s that can’t be recaptured now.

  5. All I can say is it’s a unique idea. At least the Low End Theory will get re-released in a year or two, hopefully with some extra tracks taken from the corresponding singles. I like buying the re-released but not necessarily “anniversary” albums such as Take a Look Around, Wanted Dead or Alive, Constipated Monkey, Strictly Business etc as they have extra tracks from years ago when I didn’t have enough money to buy the 12s. Yo Bum Rush the Show needs a 27.5 year anniversary reissue!

  6. A remix album with new tracks is what is needed. Get the new hot producers/beat makers bring out some new heat.

  7. I know the write up is tongue-in-cheek, but after Lupe flubbed Tribe lyrics (during the Hip Hop Honors, remember that.) & said he actually didn’t grow up listening to them, he’s not an ideal candidate for anything Tribe related.
