Vintage early source was really the only good Rap magazine that ever came out IMO
this is great! the jon shector source report on westwood used to be proper. I remember large pro talking about certain producers stealing his beat disks and whether they staged it for live radio or not, LP n Shector said they were talking on air live from a phone booth during a snow blizzard. (sounded like it too) Offered a nice cinematic touch to a NY-London rap report in the early 90’s. As banal as it may sound now, pre-internet days, shit like that felt for a lil rap head felt exclusive.
