
I notice that there’s plenty of Coup action over at Whoola Town and the Dub B U HQ, but the highlight of their impressive new album (out this week) has to be the hilarious skits. There have been some entertaining portrayal of square white guys over the years on interludes, but “Yes ‘Em To Death” takes the cake. “Two Enthusiastic Thumbs Down” is a great take on those motivational videos that certain companies try to shove down your throat as soon as they employ you, featuring Ice T‘s good buddy Jello Biafra.

Also, can’t we throw up entire chunks of the first two De La albums for skits that don’t suck? “Bitties in the BK Lounge,” alone, was brilliant like that.
