In recent times I’ve spent a bit of time tracking down an assortment of rap bootlegs and white labels, chasing the buzz of finding alternative versions of old favorites. And it turns out that the 25 To Life Entertainment crew have more than their fair share of demo mixes from the legendary The War Report album. I’ve managed to compile most of them, from dodgy vinyl pressings and rap radio rips, but there are still a couple more that are yet to see the light of day or I just couldn’t find (‘Creme’ from the The Source demo tape, the original version of ‘Driver’s Seat’ and the Stretch Armstrong remix of ‘Stick You’ which Noreaga mentions during one of his guests spots on the show). I also left off ‘Stuck’, just like Penalty Records decided to after the reviews came in!
So sit back, crack open a six-pack of Guinness tall cans and enjoys a trip back to some of some incredible Queensbridge rap that just gets better with age.

Thanks for these. Where’s “Live From Iraq” taken from?
OK, found it out myself. DJ Ev & Stretch Armstrong – Back 2 Back mixtape, if someone else was wondering too.
Important work, thank you Robbie
Great compilation. This is alot of the stuff that got me into scouring the internet for unreleased stuff 25+ years ago. I had to put “Stuck” on mine instead of that last stretch freestyle I have already on a cnn freestyle mix.
Some NORE 97-98 Companion pieces for your mix that I made

@Mikalkup: Nice one, a lotta stuff I’ve never heard on these.

Appreciate all the work you put in your comps.
@Mikalkup just saw your Noreaga comps. The second one, Nore non-album cuts around his solo album, is down. Can you please reup? Appreciate these comps, good stuff!
Link for the 98 comp is back working, thank you, Mikalkup!
I didn’t reup it, that’s weird. Good tho! I just came on here to post a link and saw this.
I made one revision of the 98 after a few listens. Here’s the revised version plus the track i pulled (Prince Powerrule) because I forgot the ACD joint.
The Early CNN folder is the earliest guest appearances they made to the best of my memory.
Both here-

Jo Robbie,
check https://www.discogs.com/de/release/6081179-DJ-Whoo-Kid-N-DJ-Stretch-Armstrong-Murda-Mixtape-Pt-4. A12 Capone-N-Noreaga – Get Off Our Dicks. I can’t find that anywhere. It must definitely be from that time, too.
