Stumbled onto this one again the other night, as heard on one of the many weird re-issues of the first Main Source LP. Even though I posted this in 2008 while discussing how much Large Pro doesn’t like TV, hearing it again reminded me of how great it is to hear alternative takes of classic rap tracks, as you can pick the differences in the vocal delivery, some extra rhymes, the way that the main loop is flipped differently and the scratching sections are all new. Either version is an absolute belter, so have at it.

Man…I’m in love with this version. I can’t choose which ones better. I need an alternate version of “Fakin the Funk”. “Peace is Not the Word to Play” has some dope versions.
Is this twelve an actual release ?
Rob, any news on your Past The Margin: A Decade of Unkut Interviews book ?
^ google says yes. it was released the same year p-vine reissued “breaking atoms” w/ bonus tracks…
