Some of you may aware that Doug E. Fresh has been a member of the Church of Scientology for the last twenty years or so. Thanks to John Safron‘s Music Jamboree series from a few years back, I can now bring you footage of ‘the world’s greatest entertainer’ using his talents to celebrate the power of dianetics and hopefully wiping out a few disembodied theatans in the process. If you want to hear more, you can enjoy his two tracks recorded especially for The Golden Era Musicians and Friends The Joy of Creating album in 2001, which also featured exclusive L. Ron bangers from Issac Hayes and Chick Corea.
Doug E. Fresh – ‘The Joy of Creating’
F doug e and the cult.doug e got a big head, and slick rick was the show
Someone should do a compilation of references to Keep It Together, I can remember a few from Royal Flush, O.C., Ironman and others. “I gave ideas to L.Ron Hubbard to write books on Dianetics” , “Readers Digest passed my book to L.Ron Hubbard” etc etc.
To be a scientologist it takes dough, and there’s not enough old school tours to fund this, so…where’s Doug getting the cream from???
They actively court celebrities and he may not have spent that much, depends on how high he wanted to go. He would probably have been recruited to due to representing a different section of society compared to their usual hollywood stars. Same with Isaac Hayes but on a larger level.
‘The words aren’t about killing, death or murder, they’re positive’. Scientology-idiot taking the moral highroad… come to your senses Doug, please.
@commanda all I cam think is sample royalties from everyone who used a line from the show?? Nah.
Damn Doug…. Shit is just weird
